Whimsical Bio

I am some one who is older, but wiser, who wants someone who needs someone or wants someone older, wiser, and loving. My friends say I'm hard nosed, but I think I am just bull headed. I'm not a pretty face - I am average. No more no less! I'm also realistic and practical, yet a dreamer, who likes to make the dreams come true.

I love nothing more than to be just spontaneous, and go off on tangents. I do computer graphic animations, video editing, and author DVD's.

My family, with the exception of my brother who has not been around since 2000 and will not speak to me ( I called his wife, my sinister-in-law, a witch (sic) is gone.  I do have Chrissy, a 5.5 year old rescued German Shepherd, whose unconditional love is more than I deserve (well, at times, maybe).  The pic at right is a few years old (2004 to be exact, I think).

I'm a romantic who can't find someone to share the romance with. After a 92" auto accident that nearly killed me, and a 2009 auto accident (which totaled an audi A4, leaving me with a concussion, and two badly sprained knees), I have a weight fluctuation problem that is coming (?) under control. 5'11". 210. br/br, 44c, 34w. I still have rich brown eyes, and graying hair, and a goatee, thanks to Chrissy.

I'm sentimental, honest and sincere. And picky.

I like intelligence, talent, and affection in a person, and of course, honesty - sound familiar. I'm looking for monogamy, and commitment and a life long relationship - not a few months or years. Basically, I'm hoping to find the last relationship. I am getting too fed up with and too old for bar hopping, dating services, and games.

As for that "someone special", nothing is set in stone. As the song says: "I'll know, when my love comes along. I'll know." (from the musical "Guys and Dolls"). However,  one song, sung by Judy Garland in 1943's "Girl Crazy", and later recorded by Frank Sinatra, Chet Baker, and Billie Holiday, says it all - But Not for Me (www.bluesforpeace.com/lyrics/but-not-for-me.htm)

There's also another line that fits, from the Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movie "You've Got Mail".  Hanks asks Ryan, "Do you have someone special?" and she answers, "No. But I dream of having someone special."  I have the same dream. My dreams rarely come true.

Well, that's me in a nutshell. But one nut does not a can make.
